Schools cross-country this coming Sunday at East Court

Schools cross-country races this coming Sunday October 11

We will be holding the schools cross-country races this coming Sunday at East Court. The secondary schools races are at 12.30 (Girls) and 1.00 (boys) while the primary school races are at 2.00 (Girls) and 2.30 (boys). We will start getting the course ready at 9.30 on the Sunday morning.

As always we need help on the day to make sure everything goes smoothly. If you haven’t already volunteered then turn up on the day and make yourself known. If you can help with setting up the course in the morning then please meet at the changing rooms by the football pitches by 9.30 – to help with the afternoon races aim to turn up by about 11.45.

Training has re-started for the autumn/winter

We re-started training on Thursday evening and we had good numbers in both the junior and senior groups. Sunday mornings at East Court have also started and it was rather disappointing that we had only 5 athletes taking advantage of this morning’s sunshine.

This coming Tuesday October 6 the circuits sessions for senior athletes starts at Imberhorne School from 7.30.

Social and Awards Evening

We do not yet have a new date for the social and presentation evening.

Thursday October 8 – Thursday evening training at Imberhorne Upper School from 7pm.

Saturday October 10 – Saturday morning training at East Court for junior athletes has now stopped.

Sunday October 11 – Schools cross-country races at East Court. (No Sunday morning training at East Court this week – next session on October 18.)
