Medal/trophy winners from last Friday evening’s social/presentation evening

Friday night’s social/presentation evening at East Grinstead Town Football Club

It was great to see so many people at the football club on Friday evening for our annual social and presentation evening. As usual the main part of the evening was to present medals and trophies to our successful athletes from the summer of 2015, although a quiz set by Alf Smart was a new feature this year.

Cross-Country last Saturday

Some of those who went to the previous night’s social evening then went down to Bexhill for the second match in the Sussex Cross-Country league – the muddiest course in Sussex and, on Saturday, the windiest day that anybody could remember for the league. I don’t yet have the results and I’ll update when I can.

What’s happening over the next week ?

Tuesday November 24 – circuits session at Imberhorne Upper School from 7.30pm

Thursday November 26 – Thursday evening training at Imberhorne Upper School from 7pm.

Saturday November 28 – long/triple jump session at Imberhorne from 10 to 11.30.

Sunday November 29 – training for all at East Court from 10.30 to about 11.45.
