Time to start training for the summer of 2017

Winter training sessions about to start

It’s time to get out your training gear out and start your autumn and winter training.

Sunday mornings at East Court from 10.30 to 11.45. We had our first session today. We will miss out next week (October 9) because we will be busy getting the schools cross-country course laid out.

Tuesday evenings in Imberhorne Upper School GYM from 7.30 to 8.30. Circuits sessions – by invitation only.

Thursday evenings at Imberhorne Upper School. Training for all from 7 to 8.30. Please note that we have changed the winter training structure this year. Over the autumn and winter all athletes – whether under 13s or seniors – will train at the same time.

Schools Cross-Country races at East Court – 9 October

A reminder that we will be putting on the primary schools cross-country races at East Court on Sunday October 9 – and there are races for secondary school years 7 and 8 as well. Getting the course ready will start at about 9.30 while the races themselves start at about 1.30. If you can help in the afternoon then turn up ready to help by about 12.30.

Social and Presentation Evening

Our annual end-of season do will take place on the evening of Friday October 14 at East Grinstead Town Football Club. It will start 1t 7.30 and we will get fuller details to you in the next few days. Put it in your diary now.

What’s happening in the next week ?

Tuesday 4 October – first circuits session at Imberhorne gym for invited athletes.

Thursday 6 October – first autumn/winter training session at Imberhorne from 7 to 8.30 for all age-groups.

Sunday 9 October – schools cross-country races at East Court.

Sunday 9 October – no Sunday morning session at East Court this week as we will be busy getting the course ready for the schools races.
